Dan Morris back on Pipeline - 29-01-2012

Welcome this week.

Well good news is Dan Morris is now back on Pipeline Radio and we hope he remains a fixture, its another genre we now cover on Pipeline Radio maybe the most diverse station out there. We had a great memory from our archive this week of Chris Mitchell from the old days, Chris as I said on the write up was from Laser Hot Hits. We expect in the next coming weeks to hear Zack back on Pipeline with Rocking America, also expect Kannon to be dropping in. One show that will be coming back also is "The Afro Mix" with Samuel Okocha, he is a newsreader for a major radio station in Africa.

We will be looking in the archive this coming week again, look out for a voice that has not been heard for many years for which we thought all the tapes were lost or stolen. We have found them in a dusty pile of DVD's we put away in deep store, We also want to say "hello" to all the new listeners in China, Brasil, Chile, you seem to like what we are doing and we welcome you to Pipeline world.

We also expect to hear the return of Jamie Dyer this coming week with his album mix music show, we also have the normal shows with Barry Jones, Peter Andrews, Tom Mackenzie, Titus Jennings & The Native.

Kannon Joins Pipeline - Dan Morris returns - 24-01-2012

Welcome People :)

Looks like another good few days for Pipeline Radio and our listeners out there, we first have some amazing news that "Kannon" is joining us here. Kannon is a radio presenter who is very big in the United States of America on the radio, Kannon can be heard on over 25 stations with one of his shows over there. Pipeline has help to bring him on board our station, Kannon loves everything radio, he also has over 1 million listeners in the states so he brings quality. Pipeline Radio is very proud of its connection with the USA, being able to mix anglo American radio is not a new idea look at stations like Radio England from the 60s and Laser 558 from the 80s.

So we expect to hear Kannon in due course on Pipeline Radio with his mix of music, quite what he is going to do nobody quite knows as yet... metal rock dance R&B who knows.... your find out when we do.

Dan Morris is also coming back to Pipeline Radio after being away on the isle of man working, Dan who does dance floor fillers and white labels returns very soon. Dan's last time was in 2009 on Pipeline Radio, he has done lots of ILR Radio in the past.

We went to say thank you to Edward Tuite this week as he has been listened to more than anyone, it seems you like him out there and have voted with your feet on his modern music show. Edward is a valid member of our broadcast crew here at Pipeline towers as he rubs sholders with Barry Jones, Tom Mackenzie and others.

Its amazing looking back 17 years how the station is growing more and more, we will have our new website very soon and all our presenters will be linked via Facebook, Twitter, email, and we will have an online forum also what more could you want. ? Radio in the United Kingdom is to formatted and we at Pipeline want to show how it can be done, why restrict your presenters? give them freedom to perform! We don't use play lists, we don't tell our presenters what to say.... they have freedom! something you cannot buy, make, or find. In the early days of freedom presenters like Dave Gallagher, Steve Cisco, Chris Mitchell used there voices to express there views, now its the new crew and we love it for you.

Zack Morse is back with Rocking America next month so keep your ears open for the man himself, we love having him when he finds time in his timetable, So from next month your be able to hear our U.S side.... Richard Fisher, The Native, Zack Morse, Kannon, all loud and proud.

Archiving Pipeline Radio - 17 years and counting - 17-01-2012

I have maybe touched on the subject before of archiving our broadcasts, Pipeline radio at this very moment are in the biggest archive we have done in years. We have been able to discover long thought to be lost recordings in our archive, for example most of the Simon Redmond shows were thought to have been lost forever. this is not the case even done to presenters who did a short stint like Ben Foster or Carl Hughes found now.

Ever since 1995 we have been recording everything we have broadcast, for example this weeks archive from Johnny Oldhitz was thought lost now found. Ever since Pipeline moved north its been hard to keep the archive intact and in place, what we digital recording now we can preserve everything. Most of the early radio was recorded on Video or tapes for which there are 1000s created between 1995- 2001, I hope in coming months your be able to hear just what we all sounded like back in them early days.

Even today every show that is podcasted is preserved and stored away for another day, one thing which came to light of late was Justin Case's archive. Justin as many knows passed away just over one year ago, we have to scramble to find everything he did even if it was downloaded by a listener. We found some of the archive in South America and the USA and UK its quite amazing me thinks.

For example in the archive Dave Gallagher did over 100 shows for Pipeline, were he is concerned watch this space that is all I can say and Johnny Oldhitz as well.
Chris Mitchell also did over 60 shows for Pipeline in his time on the station so did Steve Cisco, Jodie also a large amount which is still in the archive. The late Elvis Lee also did a small amount of shows in his time before his death some time ago now, Titus Jennings is well over the 100 mark now on shows for Pipeline.

On other news Pipeline radio will have a new website very soon and everything will be told here when we start, your be able to jump pages and read profiles see pics and listen to everything.

Pipeline is 17 years old this year and we are one of the longest running former pirate radio stations now, and we welcome you if you just found us to come and listen and enjoy Pipeline radio.

The Native - Now on 2012 rocks! 01-01-2012

Hi Listeners,

Our brand new presenter "The Native" is now on the air with "The almighty groove", a rock show which brings back Pipeline and its main stream rock back on air. Since loosing Justin Case we have never found a presenter who could yet sit in his hard rocking place, well in 2012 we have done it with the native and before you ask hard rocking and whiskey is his game a single malt.

So 2012 is looking really good and we look in our 17th year of broadcasting to keep rocking, more new presenters and people coming back and lost archives on air.

So keep it locked as many more great things in 2012 for Pipeline Radio International,

Pipeline Radio 2012 Re-brand, Blog, logo format. 27-12-2011

So 2012 Pipeline what does it all mean to you?
We nothing really its just for the last five years we have had the same logo, we wanted a redesign which will make us a little bit more modern. We have also changed the way the blog works, you can select in what format you want the blog to look like. For example you can have magazine format and can select any news story from the past present and future.

Pipeline radio aims next year to dispense with more of the past, with a brand new website with our new image and some more new voices. As I said before we now have "The Native", we should see Dave Gallagher return in 2012, Dan Morris, and maybe Johnny Oldhitz. On the new side of things Edward Tuite & Jamie Dyer have brought new listeners in who were not there before, you will still have the most established voices like Tom Mackenzie, Titus Jennings, Barry Jones, Peter Andrews, Zack Morse, Diane Turner, they are no go and will be with us for a while to come.

On the archive show for Pipeline we have had some requests for some of the older shows, for example we had a request for Chris Mitchell, Dave Gallagher and Simon Redmond. I am sure in months to come we will dig into the archives for you to enjoy some vintage radio shows. Pipeline is in the middle of making all old analogue recordings into digital "HD" format, so they can be preserved for many years to come should you wish to hear them.

In 16 years of broadcasting this next year is looking very exciting and changing, more new sounds, images and other things. Also expect a return to Pipeline's international short-wave service every month or fortnight we are already talking to transmitter owners in the USA & Russia.

"The Native" Joins Pipeline - 26-12-2011

Hi and Welcome!

Been a while since the last update but things went from slow to fast fast fast, now why this is, is down to the new presenters on the station like Jamie Dyer and Edward Tuite. This is Christmas and your present is a brand new Metal/Rock presenter called "Shawn The Native", he is a native American Indian and its a real pleasure to have him on board so keep your eyes open he can really rock.

In a month of reflection we have reworked Barry Jones jukebox and we hope you enjoy the format, a new start to the show and a more smooth sound with the king of the 60s Lord Barry Jones.... and before you ask he is a real Lord now... well kind of.

Reflecting on last year we lost Justin Case a very valid member of the station who we wont forget, he passed away this time last year with a lung disease. So to show we care and to show we loved his music, we are about to rerun some Metal Years for you until new year 2012.

Going into the new year we should have the first "native" show on air, alongside Barry Jones, Peter Andrews, Titus Jennings and Tom Mackenzie. We don't expect to hear much from Edward or Jamie until the new year.

On one person who will or maybe will come back in 2012, watch out for Dan Morris and also Johnny Oldhitz and Richard Fisher all on there comeback for 2012.

Pipeline News & Tuite & Dyer Join 28-11-2011

Dear Listeners,

First thing I want to say is that we have a new member of the broadcast team, Edward Tuite has joined the station as a broadcaster. We hope to have his first show with us soon, Edward has done work with the BBC in his time and local community stations and internet radio. We would like to welcome Edward to our station, he is not the only one look out for Jamie Dyer coming soon as well.

Pipeline Radio Group and Pennine 235 and decided to part ways after not being able to agree on an I.T policy arrangement, we hope that will continue to broadcast and be around for many years.

This Christmas we will be rerunning some Justin Case shows as its 1 year since his death, and all the staff feel it would be a fitting tribute to the great man who was a great broadcaster and is missed.

Pipeline radio has been broadcasting strong and we want to welcome our new listeners, we also will have the new website running by Christmas 2011!!! a big surprise for you all.

I would also love to welcome back Zack Morse to the fold and Rocking America, good to have you back Zack!!!

Its been a few weeks since I really even got a chance to update the stations blog, more looking after people and the station and not using ones hands. Well not much really to say apart from thank you again for your great support as we get close to the end of 2011, lets hope 2012 will be as good if not better and more great music coming your way. We do not have a great big presenter line up more what we do have is a good mix, Barry Jones has been very popular with you guys out there with more than 130,000 hits one day alone! We want you to keep passing on the message, Peter Andrews and Titus Jennings and Tom Mackenzie rocking no end for you each week on the station. Zack Morse should be back before the end of the year he has promised to do so as a kind of end of year show, no doubt you hear Diane Turner and Darren Potts before the year is out.

Pipeline Radio pushing the music - 17-10-2011

Its been a while since I did an update I am sorry about this, its been because of things going on in the personal sector of life. What can I say we go from strength to strength with music and the presenters doing the music, with Titus Jennings, Tom Mackenzie, Darren Potts, Peter Andrews and Barry Jones in every week now on the station. We had last week guest ex pipeline man Larson make a one off show we say thank you, Zack Morse also popped in with a message to you all. I have spoken on the phone to one ex Pipeline man David Gallagher who is planning a comeback for 2012! look out more Dave on archive in due course to get you used to him again, also had a good chat to Chris Mitchell on the phone and thanked him again for his hard work in the past look out you may hear him on archive one day. Its nice when old faces pop in and say hello again, we always say the door is open to everyone. Johnny Oldhitz may be back soon with some new shows, he has since retired from the record store game, but he still loves music and has a tale to tell.

Another update from me reminds me of a song title (another girl another planet). Well what can I tell you well first one of the longest running presenters on the station Peter Andrews has had a refresh, no no we have not given his plastic surgery but Mike Cullen has been at work on him oooh eh!

The new picture you will see when you listen to Pete, the image was made by Mike, we would like to thank him for that its quite amazing.

On the website we are working on it and yes I have said that before, but really its true I have seen it.

We would also like to welcome back Titus Jennings who is now back with us weekly, along with Darren Potts a good broadcasting team.

Hi Listeners

Its always nice when a fellow friend returns to Pipeline International Radio, in this case its the Geordie boy himself Mike Cullen. Mike has decided this time to dig in the the fantastic world of album music, he has dug out some rare gems for you to enjoy. At the end of the day there is more to music than singles, why make albums if all your going to do is play hits. Now we all play the odd hit on our shows but at least its nice, Titus Jennings had a treat from me last week and I am not sure if he enjoyed it.

The station is doing well in its own way and I am enjoying it, I hope maybe come the birthday of the station we may have a treat for you so keep your eyes open. Peter Andrews has been taking a small rest but should be back next week , Peter who started broadcasting back in 1976 had his birthday this week so we wish him the best.

I am hoping that Richard Fisher should be back early next week with Rocking America, I also hope we can start to use the stream soon for archives like it is now.

Pipeline Radio is about to welcome back the presenter Darren Potts in coming days, his mix of rock and indie is really enjoyable. He has made a youtube video for you to see, he is excited to be coming back to the station he enjoys.

Most maybe know that it's Pipeline Radio's birthday next month on 29th September, we want your ideas of what we can do for that week. Pipeline started broadcasting on 29th September 1995 from south east London, I have a video from back then its just trying to convert it to digital format.

Pipeline Radio - Metal years & Simon Redmond - 25-07-2011

Hi People!!!
This week on Pipeline radio we are re-running part one 1978 of Metal years, the late Justin Case produced the shows for the station in 2009 before he passed away in 2010. The problem is we don't have many copys of these shows due to computer problems, our archive is far from complete since then. I am asking those who read this and may have a copy of metal years on there hard drives if they can send them in, as I said we lost all the shows along with many other great programs from past presenters. We have Tom Mackenzie show back on air as per normal and also Peter Andrews and Titus Jennings, Diane Turner should be back soon she has computer problems. Pipeline Radio has started talking to Pipeline ex presenter Simon Redmond, we hope in the near future he will return to Pipeline for the 3rd time. Pipeline will start using the stream soon once we have made the server bigger for our use, Pipeline's website should be with us soon at pipelineradio.net so keep eyes open that way!! With so much going on we hope you enjoy everything we are doing, look out for Johnny Oldhitz I am sure he will soon be back with us.

One person wrote into us and asked why Tom Mackenzie thats me plays so much Hard metal, well sorry mate that is the way things are! with Justin Case no longer with us and Zack on leave someone has to feel the hole left. Hi Pipeliners

One wonders who will be on air this coming week, well looks like I am and Darren Potts about to make his long awaited return. The archive should be back this week some point as we have discovered some shows we dumped on DVD, Someone asked me about some presenters from 1999 era do we have recordings? The plain answer is yes we do have them but wont be rerun any time soon due to the amount of work that has to be done, I will be rerunning some Dave Gallagher in due course and maybe even the Late Justin Case & Elvis Lee, I hope one day soon Barry Jones will rejoin us with his show.

The station is doing really well given we are now a small operation, we have no plans any time soon to get bigger or do any AM broadcasts. On the legend side Peter Andrews will be back this week we have been awaiting new shows, you never know Zack may pop in also.

I will write more when I have more to say, as I say keep safe and enjoy the music!

Its been a while to quote a song..... Yes yes we have had our break and now we are back with a bang so to speak with shows by Titus Jennings, Johnny Oldhitz, Tom Mackenzie, this to be joined by Diane Turner & Peter Andrews this weekend. July 2011 our 16 year on the air and slowly heading towards 20 year old radio station, some say will it ever end will it go away and close? No is the answer to that while I am here it will continue, its more a format you can enjoy and is not to intense now, the aim is now class over number!

To many stations I know of look for just presenters banging out a show, this is not our case we remain on air as we are like red wine and just getting better all the time. Its good you are patient with us I know I had some listener demands, this is fine as we want you like you want us.

Hi Listeners,

I am thinking of the station this week and how we can make things better for you, to tell you the truth we have already started broadcast in HD.

I am trying to find a tape machine to start to convert the large amount of tapes in the archive, looking in it the amount of shows in there would shock you. The very first Steve Cisco show, Diane Turner, Peter Andrews and me so many....100s! It reminds me of how far the station has come in its 16 year life, I feel happy these days as the music format we are sticking to works really well. We are not a station for top 40s, but an alternative station and album music format which we love. There are few stations who will play albums out there, its nice because there is far more to music than just hits. Seeing our team with Diane Turner, Johnny Oldhitz, Peter Andrews and others all chipping in, Don't rule out hearing Dave Fuller again and never rule out Dave Gallagher for who I spoke to the other day.

There are those who your never hear again because they are maybe dead or don't wish to be here, its a shame because life is to short to argue and we are all getting old now. Over the next few months I hope to reintroduce Barry Jones back to our team, maybe even get a show out of Darren Potts and Zack Morse.

Johnny Oldhitz Is back & Diane Turner! - 03-06-2011

Hi Readers and listeners,

Its not everyday you get good news and inspire people to return, this is the case for Johnny Oldhitz the man himself is back after 2 years. John seems to have taken a mellow pill somewhere I am sure your find out why when you listen, I know we all get old but this time I have to say its strange. I love Johnny as a presenter and person he is someone who really lived the rock and roll lifestyle, for that reason you cannot question him on any musical mix as he is a true master.

Welcome back MR Oldhitz!! 2 years and he has returned, they said Oldhitz records was dead only in shop form not in music form. Anyone who made a visit would remember he always had a classic album playing in the shop.

Another person on the air this week who we welcome back is Diane Turner, a queen of rock who must be said has been with us since 1997/98. She went away for a short time but we welcome her back on the radio again, it feels like the old days again a bit and who would have thought. Years ago it was Steve Cisco, Chris Mitchell and co they moved on and we decided to return to our rock routes and the team is really happy again.

Steff Way maybe a new face to those who tune in week on week, but to me it was a matter of time before she came on air. I could say she is very connected with Dave Fuller another face we hope to hear again soon, who said Pipeline was finished and dead? I can think of one person out there who said that... This is like the old days Pipeline doing what it did best, album rock music from every decade with people who know about it.

Steff way is on air with her music show, do listen and drop her a comment on what you think, I am sure she would love to hear from you.

I am really happy the station does what it says on the tin, presenting music enjoying music and giving you a little station to be proud of.

The Sandy International format works and works its quite amazing, Diane Turner who I spoke to this week remember the station with some love. We did have quite an amazing time playing records for our listeners on 846, the station which only had two presenters until Chris Macdonald got on with Diane Turner. I remember the station to this day as it was a hard time in my life fighting Cancer but continued to broadcast no matter what or how ill I was feeling, it was the people around me who kept me going strong.

Back to the modern day Pipeline this week is packed with some great shows, this week we have Mike Lang with Mikeroscope on Black Sabbath. Hi Listeners and readers,
While writing this I am listening to Peter Andrews with his Album Zone, the station gets better and better everyweek now its in its new format. Myself and Peter has been working on a Sandy International sound, or as we like to call it "Sound of 97", the station which never really had a chance down to some daft vandal taking down our transmitter.
Then again without that Pipeline would not be on the air now, this week we see the return of Peter andrews with his flagship show "the album zone"!
A surprise back in the hot seat is Mike Lang with Mikeroscope! which is part bio part doc, its quite an amazing sound. Titus Jennings also returns for his once a month show on Pipeline lets hope he is once a week soon, Tom Mackenzie show should be back next week, just I am trying to get over an operation I have had on my knee.

Pipeline... well here is the news!

We have started out the week with Titus Jennings, Tom Mackenzie show, and Peter Andrews being on air with us and as promised I looked in the archive, we found a classic Johnny Oldhitz show from 2003 which I have decided to air. Johnny Oldhitz show was recorded in Newcastle Upon Tyne under his former shop in Newcastle. Enjoy this show as its not everyday your hear him and his classic shows on air, next weeks pick comes from the late Justin Case, Pipeline really does miss Justin since his death. I enjoyed more than anyone working with the man, his classic metal style was unique and to the point, Pipeline will continue to serve the metal heads out there as much as we can. Pipeline is a station that will remain on air and we will keep broadcasting, Peter Andrews is on every week with his classic album styles. We hope Zack will be back on air soon, also other news is Barry Jones will be on very soon with his Jukebox 60s show! watch out for it.

What more can I say, Free broadcasting is where Pipeline Radio is and has been since 1995, the station is most important and the music is the candles on top! We have been on top for years, but we hope we can still create the music you want to hear, we don't pretend to be young guys like others we know of who are +40 years old! Some Classic shows your hear in the future could be from everyone who has broadcast here.

Hi Readers,

An update is what is needed from me so here we go, its been a hard few weeks while having leg problems, I would like to bring things up to date quicker.

Pipeline is very much on the air at the moment with its current crop, The legends are still with us Peter Andrews and Diane Turner. I am here Tom Mackenzie, Zack, Titus Jennings, Darren Potts.

We all enjoy what we do now we don't wish to compete with anyone, we are a laid back station making our own noise in all the right places. I hoped that one or two may yet return but it does not look the way I wanted it.

Pipeline Archive will return in due course once we can transfer and clean up some old shows, most done on tapes in there early day.

The news is Pipeline Radio is back with its skeleton service running to show you what is to come, while we get the new website ready and get shows recorded we will man the station. Like Radio Northsea International we want to continue and want to bring you the shows, I have been providing the shows alongside Zack, Peter, & myself, watch out for Darren Potts and Dan Morris. We also will provide you with a taster of our archive, Dave Gallagher this week on the station from April 2000 in the Pirate days. On Dave news I should be meeting him for the first time in years this weekend, I hope to capture an image of the man, he comes back to the station with a new show called "Dave - Nott on Radio" watch out for itl!

Dave retired some years ago but has decided to dust down his headphones, the pure quality Dave brings goes without saying. Hi People,

I know there has not been an update but here we go, Darren Potts is to take control of Pipeline Radio and will now be the stations manager. I have decided to stick with my work with BIG L www.1395.eu as I am really enjoying it. I will still be on Pipeline with a 90min show every few weeks, I just feel after 15 years in charge its time for the new generation to take over and Darren being younger will be helped with it by myself and Justin Case.

From the early days I have always said I wanted to stand aside I did that when I join RFL in the 1990s, I again am doing it and want Darren to bring a new Pipeline with you. He will be bringing some new faces on the station and some older ones like Tom Mackenzie and Justin Case.

Hi Listeners,

First I wanted to let you know that I have been so busy and unable to update this website, I am deeply sorry for this and will try to post some more in coming weeks.

Pipeline is going off the air until September when it will be the stations 15th birthday, we are to change our style of broadcasting and we all feel we need a rest. For example Justin Case and myself of late have not been in great health but keep on going, I have since joined radio station BIG L 1395am or www.1395,eu

Justin Case & Tom Mackenzie can be heard on this station both doing rock shows, with both of us now having 20 years plus in radio we want a new adventure. I want to enjoy radio again without having to manage a station for a while. While I have had offers by people to run the station its not what I want for my listeners, I want a true Pipeline service back on the air by September 29th 2010. In the meantime we plan to play some rerun shows from yesteryear some of the presenters who made Pipeline, we hope by doing that we can bring in some new listeners from around the globe. We have still some new and untransmitted shows these will be on air soon, Justin Case's metal years will continue as will the odd show from Tom Mackenzie.

I just hope that those who have been a part of Pipeline's big history will want to record there views in a new story on the station, we want to bring you the real history of the station and not some made up version you read on the internet. From the very early days when the station nearly hit the airwaves as Thames Radio, this project was never to be due to Steve Conway pulling out for example.

We want to thank you for your patients and we will be back bigger and better in September 2010 keep checking here for updates. I will try and post at least once a week with my views on things, what I want to see people is to live in peace and be happy for now.

I am sorry I have not updated in a few days maybe because the world cup has kicked off, somewhat we can all understand when we have a love for football. Pipeline is still going strong Dan Morris Justin Case and Tom Mackenzie are all back this week on Pipeline, we are going to do a poll soon asking you to vote for your favourite Pipeline presenters of all time.

We have such a big archive we maybe able to play some of those shows from yesteryear, we hope to be able to start that soon.

Other news is that Tom Mackenzie will be able to be heard on 1395AM, doing the Friday rock show on Big L Radio thanks to the radio station for there recent help to Pipeline Radio.

Not much to really report this week it seems your still listening in and enjoying music, Dan Morris is not in this week due to a technical problem but will be back soon.

Barry jones is back with his fantastic jukebox from the 60s, Justin Case is back with Metal Years this time from 1988. Next week we see the return of metal mayhem the loudest show on the internet to date, it has to be loud and modern as well.

We hope that Diane Turner will be back this coming week, she has been taking a few days out in the sun enjoying the weather. Tom Mackenzie show is on every week as per normal, more and more new stuff coming next week.

Peter (Legend) Andrews is back again with another one of his mixed music shows, really good to listen to and enjoy.

We wish to put forward a policy of a "Listeners club" in which you can join for free, now nothing much has been thought about yet in how it will operate. We want to make sure you the listener can talk to us more about your feelings about how we operate, we are always looking to new ideas about how we can do things. Unlike other stations we wish to listen to you! you are the most important people for us the listeners who enjoy Pipeline.

I have never changed the policy of this station to provide music to you for free, we do not ask you to sign anything or ask you to join something which you donate to. We need no donation's and we will never ask for it.

On Pipeline.

Barry Jones is back this week with another fantastic trip back to the 60s, his jukebox show is a real look at the 60s this amazing era of music. The 60s are ignored these days even by the gold stations today, there are far more songs to the 60s then just the hits and Barry is working in this area to provide you a fantastic look back.

Dan Morris is back again this week and should be on later this week, his dance floor fillers show is really starting to pick up new listeners who have never found us before.

Peter Andrews and his Hippy Rock show should be back later this week, with more rare rock, prog and other types of album tracks.

Zack Morse will also be back this week with all new Rocking America, so keep your eyes open for that when its here.

More and more great shows will provide you with the music you wish to listen to, Pipeline Radio is 15 years old this September and we hope to tell you of our birthday treats soon.

We have a stalker on the loose out there, some emails have been sent in Tom Mackenzie's name which are far from the truth. I would advise those who have got these emails to take them with a pinch of salt! They are untrue and far from the truth, I would like to advise this stalker if he continues his pursuit he will be reported to the Police. Do not take this lightly do not take this with a pinch of salt, for being a stalker you can be put in jail for a large period of time.

Pipeline Radio is not based in the UK and is based outside the EU, I would like to advise this person that there information is incorrect and far from the truth.

You will be found and you will be taken to court for stalking! stop now or have a knock on the door from a Police officer.

Hi People,

Last weeks broadcast seem to really show us that you are still out there and willing to listen, its a choice thing with Pipeline its really up to you who you listen to. Unlike other stations at least with our station you do not have to wait until a set time to listen to a show, its there for you to download and enjoy and take it with you. While I admire those who stick on medium wave or have loop tape stations on the internet, I do not think you should recreate something that is dead and closed down. My thoughts are if a station has an official close down then it should be let to rest in peace, I mean you would not dig up one of your dead family would you? so why recreate something? why not start something new and be creative. While those who do wish to dig up the dead stations should be admired, its not always the right thing for me.

Pipeline for me goes from strength to strength and plans to be here for the long term, we want to be more creative while still remaining independent from the big boys. We want to give you music that you can enjoy, the presenters here are fully behind the project and those who have been here the longest know that. Rocking America is still the top download on the station Zack is Zack and nothing will change him, he really brings what America is best at which is real radio unlike today's false networking stations with only 100 songs. Diane Turners show has really made a difference she is the longest serving lady on the station, having joined us as Sandy Radio then Pipeline in 1998/1999. The longest next to Tom Mackenzie on the station is Peter Andrews who joined the station in 1996/97, Peter had been on stations before Pipeline while living with Nigel Roberts at Rock Radio Network now dead!

This week on Pipeline is packed with more new shows coming everyday, already we have new Justin Case back with (Metal Mayhem the loudest show on the radio) and a new Tom Mackenzie show which covers 1980s Electro pop and then rock! This week we will see the return on Chris Philips who joined the station over 10 years ago, look out for that amazing show. Barry Jones and Dan Morris are also back this week with more great stuff, and Hippie Peter is also on! so you can see its all very packed!

Hey Ho People!

I want to thank those who have been patient in the station returning to the airwaves, we lost over 200GB of data which hurt the station hard. We always knew we would be coming back with the format that you guys and girls (Loretta ) enjoy most, its amazing that after 15 years we are still here and doing it the best we can. We wont rule out a return to the Sky Platform in due course, its just a matter of time, AM is not ruled out for those who enjoy radio there.

We enjoy the Digital age more so then ever before, Pipeline Radio is here for all age groups out there for example Barry Jones is back this week! best of the 60s.

Rocking America & Mikroscope are coming back with there presenter team of Zack Morse and Mike Lang, Diane Turner will be back alongside Peter Andrews and his hippy hour.

There are some very small minded people out there who do not want Pipeline on air, but for me these people have no part in our station and never will have. Those who enjoy listening to the station and always welcome and to play a part, this station comes to you at no cost and is free for you and always will be we ask nothing more then you listen and enjoy. At least when we made a promise to come back on air we meant it, we do not want to give you false promises and never wish to and never will unlike other places. We promise you music you can enjoy and that is our mission, lets keep to it and keep rocking!

Pipeline Radio is back 17-05-2010

Pipeline Radio is due to return to air at 6am on the 17th May, I can promise after that we wont go off air even our server has been upgraded. The first show to return to Pipeline will be the Tom Mackenzie show, Then Dan Morris, Justin Case and Peter Andrews.

Its been a very hard time the past 5 weeks but for all of us we want to come back fresh, the station will have its birthday in September and we want to be on air for that. Barry Jones is also back this week with a brand new show, I must again state the station will be on air and free of charge for you the listener via Itunes.

Attacks on Pipeline Radio 03-05-2010

I have never had to rant in a bad way before but maybe its time I said my thing, while there are some out there who do not understand what Pipeline Radio is I will sure tell you. An attack was made on the station buy some radio reporters in a forum, I am not going to answer to these very small minded people who think that a radio station should be run in a time warp.

We are a station which started in 1995 because we saw a gap in the market to play good music radio, there had be some radio stations before us who had tried and closed down and failed.

We have never closed down there has never been a final hour ever, this station refuses to close down and be closed because of one moment of madness.

Pipeline radio will return this coming end of the week with Dan Morris, Tom Mackenzie, Peter Andrews and Justin Case's Metal Years series, people seem to doubt who I am in real well that is really up to you. They forget people change in 15 years to the person they speak about, personal attacks on me will not be aloud and we will seek to find that person and take them to court and use legal action for slander.

I attack again and say Pipeline Radio will be back, if you don't like the station then turn off you have that choice, to those who like our station we promise to be back bigger and better then before.

Where has Pipeline Gone? 01-05-2010

Howdy People,

Pipeline has been off air for some weeks due to technical problems, we expect to be back this coming week once that problem is sorted. People are saying we have run out of money, this is not a fact and is just a load of rubbish. Pipeline will be back bigger and stronger and with a good team of presenters, I hope you will now sit up and notice we have not been away.

There has been some comments on the internet made by people who have to much time on there hands, Pipeline Radio has not gone bust in any such way it also should be of note that Pipeline will be back if not before Thursday!

Its due to a major hard drive crash which gave a blue crash screen that has been the problem, we have tried everything and no will be putting a new hard drive in action.

I ask you to keep checking back here for more news, As I said and ill say it again Pipeline is back and wont be long before you can enjoy the shows we have on air.

A bit of good news for you is Beth Falconer is back on Pipeline Radio, she has been away for the past few months studying . Beth is one of our youngest members of our broadcasting team and has come on leaps and bounds, its amazing that before Pipeline she was not on any other radio station.

Beth born in the North east of England is one of the few voices who have really done well, Darren Potts being the other youngest on the station. We welcome her back on the station after 3 months away, in the next 24hrs your be able to hear the other lady on the station Diane Turner.

Hi Listeners,

Its great when I report our quarterly numbers and news, since the start of 2010 Pipeline Radio has had an increase in listenership thanks to you guys and girls the listeners! Its because of you telling your friends and people you know that this has been done, some shows are doing better then ever and your showing your support. Its strange when you look back over the past two years its been a real learning curve for everyone, we are a broadcast station that was used to normal streaming and broadcasting methods. We have had to learn how to provide you with a new string a new idea that radio can become far more portable. I was mocked by a few people at the time for who I wont mention who said Podcasting is not the way forward, its always been the case when a need for change has come around due to new technology's. Although some people still use Vinyl records me being one of them, the Ipod and MP3 player has changed music and changed the way we listen to music even via the radio stations. There are those who still believe that streaming radio is still a good option to them, I wish them the very best of luck as this is very much now a dying form of internet broadcasting. People do not wish to have to be at home for for a TV or Radio show now, they can download and take with them on Mp3 players and enjoy there favourite presenters at there own time and comfort. My thoughts for Pipeline Radio is to start a 2nd service in due course, I have my own ideas of how or what this station will be but I am sure if it does happen your be the very first to know of it.

Dan Morris is back this week with his Dance Floor Fillers show well worth a listen. Dan joined us a few weeks ago and already has brought many listeners to Pipeline Radio. Barry Jones will be back on Wednesday/Thursday with his new show from the Jukebox, Barry's show is ever changing but the 60s music keeps on coming on strong.

Its not a shock but it is very nice to have a note when someone says "I am coming back", Pipeline Radio's presenter team is a very close team, so when Darren Potts phoned me and said I want to come back it opened my eyes. So its great that I can now welcome back Darren Potts to the station on a weekly basis with his "Rock Hour" show, Darren has brought you his mix of new and modern rock music formats with a splash of classic rock.

Another person who I can welcome back on air this week is Justin Case, his Metal Mayhem show is the loudest metal show on the radio. Justin is a integral part of Pipeline Radio and has become a standard on air, so if you like hard metal and new metal tune into Justin Case.

Peter Andrews is back on the air later on this week with his Hippy Classic Rock show, Peter has been on air for a few months due to technical problems. Peter is a true legend on the station and has a unique style, he has the respect of all of the other presenters.

Pipeline Radio has a good feel to it this coming week for the listeners, One of our flagship shows is back on the air with his top presenter. Zack Morse is back from his holiday and about to rerock the USA with his show Rocking America, The show which has got more then 80,000 hits before is very popular so come and enjoy some real new alternatives. If your bored with the same old crap everyday on the radio why not try Zack Morse and Rocking America show! its never the same and always has a good feel.

Tom Mackenzie is also back with a show of difference in musical format, I have always wanted to record this show since my early days on earth. If you remember the 1980's your remember London stations like J.B.C & Horizon radio playing Jazz Funk, I used to listen to these stations and those which came after playing music which was not on the radio then. I have done a Motown, Jazz funk, Soul show in a format I remember! There are some fantastic acts in there from the biggest Motown names! I have never done a show like this in my 20 years of broadcasting, in fact I enjoyed it so much that I am going to do it again in three months time.

We expect more new shows coming this week on Pipeline, for example we have new Dan Morris to come, Diane Turner, Peter Andrews, and Justin "Man of Metal" Case with Metal Mayhem! Gordon Wedderburn and his jazz show maybe back soon! also Sam with his Afro Mix.

Hi Listeners,

People have been asking me of late how does Pipeline survive without taking adverts, well as I have said before we are a free music station. What does this mean you maybe asking yourself? Well its simple! we are not owned by some big multi national or the BBC of Government, as an Ex-pirate station the last thing we wanted to do is charge you, why should we charge for a service which we feel should be free? With BBC6 Music going off the air its one more alternative going off the air, I can say we are not happy when any station goes off air. The problem with British broadcasting is it all sounds the same and is to far formatted or networked, something I have always promised is we will never go down any of these roads. Pipeline has been here 15 years of which we have enjoyed, and since coming back on Itunes have found new people willing to listen to our alternative service. There are not many station who can boast the music formats we cover week on week out, I meet people all around the globe who seem to enjoy our station. What we want is more contact with you the listeners and you telling us how to get better, we want your ideas at the end of the day its your station to.

We have brought programs like Barry Jones and Justin cases Metal years, of which is now being copied by magazines and TV shows in England because they can't think for themselves.

People forget that there is more music on an album then the single that was released, people forget this music and some of it is very good indeed.

I said I would name some names of presenters since 1995.. well here we go a few of the first.

Glad to be back this week on Pipeline Radio and we have some big news for you, the point is that we now have listeners in the far east of China and Japan. The fact that more people are finding us in these places is a fact we bring a real alternative, even the UK people are listening to many of the shows one of the biggest shows that is doing well is "Barry Jones Jukebox the best of the 60s".

The reason for this growth is simple the gold stations in the UK are rubbish, none of them offer the real alternative 60s music.

The station is having a great big boom in listeners from around the Globe, people are coming in from everywhere and even sending in emails to presenters. We like the fact you can enjoy our service and the music we can share with you, its always been the stations aim to give you the music and service you can enjoy.

Barry Jones is back this week packed with his jukebox with many songs, Barry has become the local historian for the Globe in Stockton on Tees a dance hall of the 60s. The Globe had many big artists on like - The Animals, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Dusty Springfield and much much more. We have decided to cram more great acts in Barry's show, if you listen in your find out how and much much more Globe history!

BBC-6 Music Closing & Station News - 07-03-2010

Its strange we are already in March of 2010 and its going so fast, so far we have seen numbers per listeners and hits up by an amazing 77% on last year. We plan to keep changing and evolving to suit you the listener, with news that BBC 6 Music is to go off air in 2011 we want to welcome those who will switch to Pipeline Radio. We are an alternative station and nothing like maybe you have listened to, our presenters get 100% choice over there music unlike BBC stations. For example Titus Jennings always picks what he wants to play, if he were on BBC6 I am only guessing he would have to play 50% BBC Picks. When you have freedom in radio broadcasting the music and presenters sound better, thus making a really good service and enjoyment for all. Our presenting family want to do our best for you take Zack Morse, When Zack is here his production work is always 100% the same for Barry Jones. We want people to switch from the BBC we want to show that there are better ways in radio, 15 years on the air must tell you something even if you are a fan of one kind of music. Dan Morris has been a revelation since joining us just a few weeks ago, while Diane Turners show has been well listened to by you the listener.

This week we expect to have a good line up, for example Dan Morris is back with his floor fillers show, Tom Mackenzie and Justin Case back! Just is back with his really loud metal show - Metal Mayhem. Gordon Wedderburn will be back with some Jazz, and so much more to come its hard for me to remember! Do try Mikeroscope with Mike Lang, a great show last week with his Journey show! enjoyable to the least!

Its been a while since an update has been done here, its with great pride I want to tell you that Pipeline Radio will be providing I.T Support for Raiders Broadcast. Raiders has a number of ex pipeline boys on there and has been on the air some 20 years, We are to host there website in return they will keep a contracted deal that may see Tom Mackenzie do some shows on Raiders.

Pipeline has had some server problems in the last few weeks which have now been resolved, the server company wished to redesign our pro server which took us off air.

Your favourite shows are back now like Tom Mackenzie, Dan Morris, Justin Case, Diane Turner, and Titus Jennings. Dane Morris has really started to take the bull by the horns and change Pipeline Radio, we always aim to add different styles to the station. I am very proud of what Pipeline has done in 15 years on the air, we have more listeners listening and visiting our websites and podcasts. I said to many of the Pipeline team that Podcasting was the future of radio for which I was dismissed as crazy, we have now shown that this is a fact and people do not wish to be tied down to wait for a show. People now wish to have a radio show when they feel its right, maybe they listen in the Car, Bus, Train, Taxi or just walking! we are portable and free!

Pipeline Radio is a free radio station which broadcasts under one rule, that is the freedom and expression of musical taste. If there is something we could add to the station let us know on twitter, we want to please you more in this market.

Shows that are back this week are Tom Mackenzie, Justin Case, Dan Morris, Mike Lang, Diane Turner while Zack Morse is taking a well earned break for the moment. Barry Jones should be back on air next week with his jukebox, as will Chris Phillips with his show.

Peter Andrews is away on extended leave for a week or so and will return in the end of March 2010, apart from that all is very good at the moment. May I also say its nice to see spring is here!

If there was any of the original Pipeline Radio Pirate team to return this one has been on the books for a while, I did mention that Diane Turner who left us in 2000 could come back. Diane has changed her style but is still a really nice character to have about, Diane Turner will be doing a weekly show on Pipeline give her time as she has not done any radio in ten years. When you stop doing radio for a long time, you will indeed become very rusty but to me she sounds at her best. May we take this chance to welcome back Diane Turner, who knows maybe Dave Fuller will make a comeback soon?

The show itself is a mix of unsigned bands and modern music along with some fantastic classic rock, album music is her style so enjoy it as it is in true Pipeline style.

Diane has been in radio for more then 20 years and has been on many stations, some of those of which were Pirate stations for example - RFM, London Rock, London FM, Sandy International, Radio Josephine 801, Ram 220.

Dave Gallagher was asked in the last few weeks if he could recall some memory's of Pipeline Radio, it was the early days around 2000 that he recalls from.

Good to hear the old girl is 15, she'll be married soon, with lots of baby Pipelines!

Thinking about those days brings back lots of emotions, a very strange feeling sitting in a room playing music, which is my obsession in life and the odd email from people, including Mr Free Four! two chaps or one chap and a lady who were listening to the station and tracked us down and asked for Floyd's "Free Four"

Lots of memories:

Pipeline was often the highlight of my weekend, sitting in the living room with a cup of tea, waiting to take over, Chris Mitchell leaving me with the Focus yodelling, Pete Andrews telling me I could turn the amp on, thinking I wouldn't be invited back the following weekend after more feedback than Jesus an the Mary Chain!

Going legit as it were was good, with the internet service and Sky, there was a moment, a fleeting moment when I thought we could rival GLR!

Oh and Cisco's feet, uuh where's the clothes peg?!

Thank you Dave for the great memory's, maybe you can supply some more in due course! We thank all the people who have been involved over the years, without them we would not be here this very day still pumping out the great music.

Pipeline will be 15 on September 29th 2010.

Pipeline Radio is on a high this week with more and more of you checking us out on Itunes, we at Pipeline would like to thank you for this and hope your continue with your support.

15 years is a very long time for anything really, Pipeline's birthday I hope will be a bash for all to enjoy via your computers or mp3 players. We are working on a new website in flash for you, a website which will push the station into this second decade of the 2000s.

Zack Morse had the station in the last few weeks in a magazine in the United States promoting Rocking America show and Pipeline, if anyone ever wants to write about the station they only have to contact us. I was asked the other day who were the first presenters on Pipeline Radio, well thats an easy one it would be Tom Mackenzie, Noel Thomas, Chris MacDonald, Tony Jacobs, Mark Andersen.

This week we saw the return of Gordon Wedderburn and Mike Cullen to the station, and shows from Barry Jones and Justin Case. I wanted to point out in the near future we hope to have a new face or two on the station, Pipeline is always looking to add to its team no matter what is going on. Pipeline's archive show will be back soon with more shows never broadcast for 10 years, they are all from our archive which is on old tapes. This next week I expect your hear some new voices, then again I expect you to hear voices you know now.

Anyway we hope your enjoying what we do, soon we will open a poll on archive of who you wish to listen to again maybe even run a series. Past voices are not ghosts more voices then kept us to continue and make us the station we are today, we started as an alternative and that is still close to our heart. Its always nice to have one of the presenters back after a break away, Barry has his Christmas break and refreshed himself with more fantastic monster songs. The Jukebox show is our tribute to an era of music which should not be discounted, this period of time was of great time in the UK and in many modern country's. Baby boomer's were able to tell us the music they wanted by voting with there feet, the 45rpm Single became a hip thing to buy at this time with millions being sold weekly from stores all over the globe. Barry takes us back to a time when he remembers what was solid and swinging for that time, so if you like the Shadows, Beatles, Stones, this is the show for you so come and enjoy this show. Barry was born in Teesside in the United Kingdom, so your hear what was going on in that area of the UK. Barry is back every week with a new show, so its a show your be able to catch every week on Pipeline Radio.

Pipeline Update + Dave Gallagher 25-01-2010

Hi listeners,

Its our 15th year on the air and its time to start to celebrate that the best way, what I want to do is to play some of the presenters who have had the most influence on the station. Dave Gallagher was one of those who joined the station with an aim of his own, what Dave in his time gave was more then we could ever thought he would. Dave had that kind of thing about him you see in very few people, it was a normal guy without a big head coming into the studio doing a radio show. You know we can always look back in history and find a pointer to things that changed history, Dave Gallagher was one of those people without Dave I do wonder even myself if the station would be here now. I could name a few people who have made major changes here at Pipeline, Steve Cisco, Titus Jennings, Jonathan Dean, Dave Gallagher, Peter Andrews, Justin Case now its time to show what these people have given. Its a shame I cannot show you what Jonathan did on the station due to his current company not letting him on any other station, but again Jonathan was here and most of his time was kept on 1590 in the USA and 945 in Latvia.

What I hope by replaying the early days on Pipeline which we will focus on 1998/2001, is how the station was becoming what we have today and how free radio was done every Sunday from a house in South East London. We have most of what we did then on master tapes mostly covered in dust, but I have been able to dig and clean up some of that archive starting with Dave Gallagher. Expect to hear people like Andy Michaels , John Davis, Simon Redmond, all left the station but never forgotten in any way all making a contribution to the station. I never thought Pipeline would still be here in 2010 back in 1995, but we are here and getting stronger then ever before thanks to the likes of Zack Morse, Mike Lang, Richard Fisher, Samuel, Peter Andrews, Darren potts, Beth Falconer, Tom Mackenzie and others!!

This week we have an action packed week, Metal years is back this year with Justin Case, Darren Potts is back with his new show and so will Tom Mackenzie this week and Gordon Wedderburn and Peter Andrews and Zack Morse.

So keep your eyes open, as we get closer to the 15th Birthday of this station we will be drawing up a list of presenters who have been on the station. lets try and make it another 15 years and make Pipeline Radio bigger and better and free to all the people of the world.

Pipeline Update 19-01-2010

Hi Listeners,

You thought that Pipeline had gone away how wrong are you? the station has had major internet connection problems with a British ISP - naming no names but they end in the name "Telecom" !

Pipeline is now in its 15th year of broadcasting a year we want to celebrate in style, we aim to tell the complete story of the station. We want to tell it from its very early days in South London to 1350Khz to 990khz to Sky to today's true and amazing service, the station has changed in so many ways in the 15 years we have been here but the message has remained the same. The message is Freedom to broadcast! the freedom to give the public what it really wants, and free speech with real words and damn state broadcasting.

If we start to think in the way that big company's like the BBC can run broadcasting its bad for radio, they can do and say what they like but also have so much influence by the politicians and the BBC is not independent from the government. In 1964 offshore pirate radio gave the government a big headache by saying "you don't play this we will" as it was all in the hands of EMI and Decca! They changed things for the better, sometimes you need a big disaster or something bad to happen to change a train of thought. Pipeline was born on that idea in the 1990s that nobody was playing rock music and nobody was making a real statement, although Pipeline has never been as big as the BBC our message has always been there and always will until one day we close. I can't see us closing for a long time to come in fact Pipeline is better then before although at this moment technical problems dog us, this will change in due course as Pipeline always gets round it. As John Lennon once said "There is nothing you can do, that can't be done" this is the same as Pipeline Radio, if someone said lets to this we tried to do it for example the format that me and Steve Cisco made round a pub table. 1350 was devised and for me this day 10 years on it still sounds fresh, I hope as the owner of this monster of a station that our love sound and quality will keep on broadcasting to you the listener. Fuck the rest of the world just enjoy Pipeline Radio and we will all be happy, its making a statement like that which really still drives me on today I am sure your not offended. !

We also expect to try and have some more old faces make a return this year, even if its for one off shows it would be nice to hear them back for one. My hope is that Dave "Berlin" Gallagher will make a return, we can only cross fingers and toes and hope for it, I am sure if he reads it he will understand it.

Its been a while since I really did a big update so maybe its time to take it and do it, what can I say we are now in our 15th year of broadcasting something I see as a bit of a milestone. A station set up with the idea of free radio broadcasting and an alternative to the BBC or ILR, we have done much over the years and in our 15th year we have some big plans ahead. I can't say yet what is planned but you may well see a return to Sky Digital this year, if all goes ahead for 2010 its going to be a very exciting year for Pipeline Radio.

What has been going on....

Well to put is nicely I have not been at all well over Christmas, I have found out I have a possible Kidney stone and when I came out of Hospital I got Gastric Flu.. so the toilet came in very handy indeed.

Pipeline Show news!

We are really sorry for the lack of anything new but hey its holiday time, over the next few days we hope to get back to somewhat normal format of shows. This week we have Justin Case with Metal Mayhem, Darren Potts should be back with "Rock hour". Tom Mackenzie is back with his new show and so is the Afro show with Sam from Nigeria, Zack Morse should be back along with Mike Lang and others.

Pipeline is starting to wind down a bit for Christmas so don't worry there, Pipeline will remain on the air with Tom Mackenzie, Beth Falconer, Peter Andrews and more!

The big news this week is that Samuel Okocha has joined Pipeline Radio's broadcast team from Nigeria, the show is live and you can here it. Samuel has work in radio in Africa and has presented before, he is doing a show here called "The Afro Mix" taking the latest modern trends in African music and world music. I wanted a show like this on the station to show that we think big and wide, you can see how other places interpret our music styles here in the western world.

We would like to Welcome Samuel to our station, and hope he will do many shows to come in the very near future.

Darren Potts has returned to action after being away for some six weeks, Darren has been away on personal issues which he will share with you in this show. Darren I was surprised with because I feel we have a new Darren on air, something has transformed his way of presenting and his style but hey its all for the good I guess as he looks for himself in radio world. Its great to have Darren back on air this week, he now wont be back until the new year but I am sure the next show will be great!

Its always great to have the old team here and Steve Cisco is like me having been here for ages now, Pipeline welcomes back the "Cisco Kid"! his range of music is always great being new and old indie and rock, in his tenth year on Pipeline its great to have him here and he is always well appreciated.

Barry Jones will be back this week with another new show from his Jukebox, the Swinging 60s have never sounded so good but Barry always has something to tell. Look out for him this week.

Richard Fisher should be back with Lock Rock later on this week, a show which is really now started to pick up listeners our Anglo American link serves us well! Richard is hot on rock and new on style so catch him this week for Lock Rock!

Tom Mackenzie show is back later this week, all I can say for now is who knows what will be in it because I don't even now. Peter Andrews is back before the weekend with his "Floating music" Zack Morse the presenter of Rocking America is his biggest fan! So now you know where Zack Morse get's his ideas....

What more can I tell you..... well

Mike Lang should be back in due course along with Mike Cullen, Dutch Guy is away for the time being as he is not very well! so we hope that gets better!

News Update - Beth Falconer and Barry Jones - 11-10-2009

Its great to have the station running so well these last few weeks, everyone is bringing more and more to the station. Pipeline has back this week the Queen of Pipeline radio herself Beth Falconer, we a revamped show with a better format. She has put her heart and soul into the station and her show even if she is every fortnight, at the end of the day what she does is unique to the station.

Pipeline radio in 2010 will be 15 years old and we must put on a birthday bash on air, its amazing to think it all started back in South London back in 1995 quite amazing.

Tom Mackenzie show has not been on air this week due to an infection, so he must try and get some rest where I am. Beth is back this week along with Richard Fisher the man who does his show called "Lock Rock" which is really worth a listen. Barry Jones is back this week with his Jukebox better then ever before, if you loved the swinging 60s then Barry is your man! he takes you for trips around his local clubs in Teesside in the 60s!

Zack Morse the Rocking America rocking the world man is also back, every week he has been here and we may see him over Christmas also so hey listen to Rocking America!

Tom Mackenzie, Gordon Wedderburn, Steve Cisco, Justin Case, Darren Potts, should all be back soon so keep your eyes open.

The Dutch Guy wont be around for some weeks, he has become very ill and we wish him a fast and speedy recovery. On the last note I want to speak of Chris Philips who is back this week, he has never been giving the lime light but he is still here. Chris has given us now some 10 years service so its of the station to say Thank you, I hope he is here for another 10 years great person great presenter need I say anymore.

I will try and update some more as things are ready to be updated.

What more can I say then this has been a slow week on Pipeline Radio, over Christmas don't expect to see much movement but we will keep broadcasting with extra shows from Tom Mackenzie.

For this week we have a packed week for you.

Barry Jones is back with BJ's Juke box with some swinging 60s tunes, where by Gordon Wedderburn is back after a few weeks as he has been sick.

Gordons show is still as yet Untitled! its your choice to make up the name.

Tom Mackenzie & Zack Morse & Peter Andrews all back with new shows which are great, so what more can I say well there is something....

Darren Potts and Beth Falconer will be back in coming days, along with Steve Cisco and his great show.

Its a nice week so far on Pipeline we have the return of Mike Cullen, Mike who has been on the station in one form or another for quite a while. Mike does a new show this week called "The open book", so what does it mean? well format without formatting of a show a music mix which does not always add up. Mike has tried to use a tried and tested format in AOR/mix but really its nice to have him back, he is a local lad and one of my all time best friends so nice to have you back Mike after a while away.

Barry Jones is back this week with his Jukebox show, a mix of the best of the 60s an era which made music what it is today. Barry who also takes you down memory lane of what it was like in his time, a time when music was swinging and the girls were fantastic.! not to say there still not fantastic.

Peter Andrews is back with his Hippy box of tricks, to say he will play you songs from great artists in rock and progressive music styles.

Justin Case is back this week with Metal Years is back with the year 1980, its a look back in time of Rock/Metal music a real great mix of stuff from him.

Tom Mackenzie, Beth Falconer should be back before or around the weekend, along with Darren Potts yes the man himself is back on the air with us here at Pipeline. Its not always that I can say I have enjoyed a week on the station, but for me this is one of the best weeks we have had music wise. The station is getting more listeners then ever and this is because of our unique format, Pipeline is a station where anything and everything goes no matter what style or genre of music unlike other stations.

This week on the station we saw "The Dutch Man" make his début on the air on Pipeline Radio, its a show that moves more than 1000 miles per hour but is very enjoyable. Pipeline also saw Mike Lang in for an extra show, and its fantastic to have Zack Morse back with Rocking America as its a flagship show on the station.

The Tom Mackenzie show is back with another fantastic mix, some new acts in there this week from the likes of Taylor Swift, Them Crooked Vultures, and Bon Jovi and his new album!

Titus Jennings and Richard Fisher made them comebacks this week with there shows, of course Titus try's to get us a show when he can but we really do enjoy having him back here.

Mike Cullen should be back in a few days time with "Open Book" a show where by he can express himself more, The Geordie boy has had a few technical problems over the past week or so but is fighting to be back on Pipeline.

Next week we hope to have back "Gordon Wedderburn, Steve Cisco, Beth Falconer, and maybe Darren Potts! watch out for that.

Its nice to start the week fresh with some new shows from our team of presenters, and what a roll call we have for you this week some amazing stuff.

Titus Jennings is back at Pipeline this week with a show for the month, yes he is only on every month or when he can do a show as he lives a busy life in Bristol. The show has some amazing music on it after listening to it myself, its a real mix of everything from Mash up's to David Gilmour or Randy Newman, or Yes! From the very strange to the very modern its a real what I call "Pipeline Show"! in every word and song.

I am proud to announce that Dave Asher once of Radio Caroline is joining us here at Pipeline, you will be able to hear him in a few weeks time on Pipeline radio. Keep checking for updates on Dave Asher I am sure it will be all worth it.

Mike Lang is back again this week with "Mikeroscope" in which he is looking into bands Def Leppard and AC/DC , please if you like those bands try and enjoy it as its amazing.

Justin Case is back with his new show "Metal Mayhem" which you hear every two weeks on Pipeline, as for the other week he is doing "Metal Years" and the next one you will have is the year 1980.

Things move very fast here at Pipeline Radio, in fact sometimes its very hard to keep up. With the loss of Mike Cullen's Kick up the Eighties we have brought someone in. Mike Cullen will remain with Pipeline Radio doing another show, But we had to replace what he was doing with someone who does an eighties show. So we should welcome in to Pipeline Radio "Simon Parry", Simon has been in local radio in the UK and still does a show there. Welcome Simon coming we hope this weekend, Simon is also a really good friend of Pipeline presenter Justin Case.

Gordon Wedderburn is back on Pipeline this week with his new age Jazz Fusion show, Gordon had a few studio problems but is back and strong on Pipeline radio. Gordon is still looking for a good name for his show, so if you do have a name please contact us via Twitter.

Tom Mackenzie show is back on Pipeline Radio this week, its a real mix of what Tom does best being a wild card. Its a mix of classic album tracks and new music from the likes of "Cheep Trick"!

Beth Falconer is back again for what we call a "Bonus Show" yes this really is. Beth only does a show every two weeks, she did so well and was so happy last time she asked if she could do a bonus show. So being the queen of Pipeline radio that she is, she is back again for a 2nd time in two weeks which is fantastic we love having her around here.

The North-East lass tells her thoughts on John and Edward on X-Factor, do you think she likes them? I know many people are ranting on this and Beth puts her foot in this time.

Its always great to bring you more news on Pipeline Radio, as you might know more and more is going on with Pipeline Radio. Our new presenters are really showing the quality that we knew they have, take Mike Lang and his show that is once a fortnight. Mike is a very strong presenter with bags of experience in radio presenting in Canada, Ireland and other places, We are very proud to have Mike among us here at Pipeline Radio he has become a real Pipeline family member. Mike's show "Under the mikeroscope" is a real interesting listen and is done in documentary form, for example this week we "Audioslave Vs The Who" where Mike looks into both bands and there history and music. It's a show that is pulling in thousands of new listeners each week, you wont find this show on any other station so get it here on Pipeline Radio.

Richard Fisher "The Fishman" is back again on Pipeline Radio, Richard is a great presenter with so much experience in radio. Richard took a year off Pipeline to sort out some personal problems, in which time he lost his show Rocking America to Zack Morse who now presents it. Richard has come back fighting like a boxer with a great new concept which is "Lock Rock", in many ways its like Rocking America of old but has far more guts. Richard is a very proud farther who works hard, and when he gets home he does this show so lets at least give him a listen and enjoy.

It is a very proud moment for me to introduce to you "The Dutch Guy"!

The Dutch Guy is joining our station and is doing it in English - How about that then?

I want you to keep an eye open for him, he has been broadcasting in the USA and Ireland on stations and is well worth a listen. The Dutch Guy will be Pipeline's first ever Dutch presenter a first for us, but we always knew maybe it would happen one day!

His mix in music is for you to find out, I can say that he sounds a bit like Emperor Rosko the presenter that was on Pirate radio in the 1960s. That's his style and its fast so come and enjoy it. I will be putting his small "Hello Promo" on the podcast site so watch out for it!

Its been a fantastic week for Pipeline Radio in the music and shows we have been bringing for you, Metal Mayhem with Justin Case has had more listeners then ever before. It seems that more Metal listeners are enjoying more Power Metal and new music, Justin who has been in radio since the late 1970s enjoys his shows on Pipeline Radio. Justin is back next week with another Metal year which will be 1979! so watch out for that.

Pipeline is proud to have Beth Falconer back this week on Pipeline Radio, Beth has been away in the sun in Florida USA an experience she really enjoyed. In this weeks show from Beth she is giving away a big secret which not many people outside her town know, in fact the show itself is her best to date with a mix of modern contemporary songs. I was amazed by the look in her eye in the studio even if she does demand Orange Juice and Biscuits. Download and enjoy her show!

Its been good to also to have Richard Fisher back on the station with his Hair Lock show, Richard has done many shows in his years with Pipeline although he took a year of so out.

Its amazing its already November and Pipeline has been broadcasting non stop all year, I will look back at 2009 with pride and say we have done some damn good radio. What is great even still is that Richard Fisher has returned to Pipeline Radio, we wanted to try and keep this quiet from you until we knew it was in the bag. Richard Fisher in 2005/6 was the presenter of "Rocking America" he then left the station due to personal problems. Now Richard is back fresh with a new named show called "Lock Rock", very much like Rocking America but with the classic rock, hair rock, hard rock, and rock tint. Rocking America these days is presented by Zack Morse!

So please enjoy the fact that Richard is back for you, all the way from the Desert in Arizona USA!

Its always nice to report great news for you and that is what I am bringing you, Metal years the new show by Justin Case seems to be going down well 1978 was the year covered. Darren Potts and Chris Philips are all back this week with new shows, something I knew would come along for you to enjoy.

Darren Potts soon is going to be on every fortnight due to personal issues, but he has advised that he will be doing much more great music for you. Pipeline at this moment are speaking to a number of presenters who wish to join our station, the thing is Pipeline has a good name having been on air since September 1995. Titus Jennings advises that he will be back next month with his monthly show, so keep an eye open for them as they are always very special.

There is also Rumour that this coming week could see the return of Johnny Oldhitz and Richard Fisher, this is yet to be seen and nothing has been confirmed as yet. Gordon Wedderburn should also be back this coming week with his jazz fusion show, he wants you to bring him a name for his show as it is yet untitled of course. Pipeline also wants to make more links in coming weeks with Africa and try and bring you music from there, People think we are just a rock station OK in the main we are but World music comes into that.

Look out for Metal Mayhem this week with Justin Case, his extreme metal show really does have its own pick of the listeners. Pipeline Radio also wants to hear from you, we are about to have a brand new flash website which is going to be nice. Watch out for Mike Cullen he is doing his last Kick up the Eighties show for Pipeline, but he is not leaving but going onto doing more of a mixed music show from Newcastle Upon Tyne his home Town.

More Tom Mackenzie show this coming week also, we still have no idea what will be in the show, also keep an eye open for Mike Lang and Steve Cisco this coming week all being well.

Beth Falconer also should be back soon, she has a name for her show which she will tell you in coming days, she has been on a long holiday in the USA. She wants to get back to British Weather her own words not mine, I can only hope she is looking forward to getting back in the studios with Pipeline Radio. The Next metal years will feature the year 1979! in two weeks time, so keep an eye open for that. Peter Andrews will be back again next week with more shows, Peter the legend that is on this station having been here since 1996!

It was great to welcome back Zack Morse last week with his 25th show, Zack who is the presenter of Rocking America the show that really does kick well worth a listen.

We get more then 200,000 hits a month now from around planet earth, its nice to know your out there maybe we should put a map up or something for you to click. Pipeline is Booming and we like the fact our shows are the things you enjoy, we hope to bring you much more in coming months and in 2010.

Its always great to be doing some cracking shows for your ears, Zack Morse returns after a few weeks away with Rocking America he revisits his early days. Tom Mackenzie show is back also what more can I say apart from I really enjoyed this one, I think its one of my better ones even if I do say myself... he there I am again being big headed.!

Pipeline is pulling 1000s of listeners each week due to its diverse music format, From the hard stuff to the jazz stuff its all here on Pipeline. I always said that Podcasting was the way forward for radio to be modern and stay alive. Pipeline is not an internet boring loop tape station or a station that comes on a few times a week, its a station that is kicking arse in the modern era of radio podcasting.

Pipeline in the past has always tried to cater for the many and not the few, we are proud to be an all around music station that gives everything a go. So its pleased for me to say we are bringing a presenter on Pipeline live from Kenya in Africa, it has to be remembered that even in Africa they have a Rock music of there very own in the form of Blue Beat. Its the way that people interpret Rock music and in many other countries even Africa they have done this, so we want to bring our first African Presenter on Pipeline Radio. We are always proud to break new voices so we are proud to present "Erastus Wambugu"! if you ever wondered what others listen to this is the show for you, Music is a word for love so lets pass the love around the universe be that China, Africa, USA or anywhere! Music Unites us all here at Pipeline Radio!

"Erastus has done radio in Kenya for a station there, so knows how to present radio for the many and not the few. Remember this! Pipeline has done Turkish Radio, Polish Radio, and of course British/American! so anything new helps unite the world in Peace and love.

This week we have welcomed back Barry Jones and Gordon Wedderburn, its amazing that in the few weeks that Gordon has been here many of you are listening to his show. I always thought there was a market for a good Jazz Fusion show, again this form of music is ignored by even the BBC or ILR in the UK! We hope to welcome back Mike Lang in the next few days with another great show, Young presenter Darren Potts is also making a name from himself on Pipeline Radio and he needs your support so please listen in.

The Tom Mackenzie show should be back this coming Monday 26-10-2009, as yet I have very little set aside for it but who knows eh! 3 in a row is back this next show.

I hope that Zack Morse will be back soon, he has been taking a break as he has told you before due to personal reasons. But I would welcome Zack back as soon as he can do it for us.

Another person who has not been on for a few weeks due to personal reasons is Chris Philips, but he has said to me that he will return in the next week or so. Chris is one of the longest running presenters on the station having joined in 1999.!

On the Disk drive we still have no luck and it might yet have to go to an outside dealer, this means a really big bill to recover what we have lost.! Needs must!'

Its always nice to welcome any presenter back to Pipeline should they have been away, Barry Jones last show for Pipeline was in 2007! So therefore its nice to welcome Barry back to Pipeline Radio, his juke box show is like a trip back to the swinging 60s! So please give it a try even if you did not live back then, in his time here Barry has done Sky Digital and Internet with Pipeline.

The news seems to get round fast about the disk that failed, well we are still waiting news from the shop who have our disk.. soon as we know more I will let you know!

Great to have you with us today and as always tell your friends about us, Pipeline in its 14th year of broadcasting is going mad with new listeners.

On station news

Tom Mackenzie show is back this week with a fantastic master peace if I do say myself, OK maybe I am talking my show up but then again who am I not to eh? tell me what you think of the show!

There is some fantastic artists in the show who your really enjoy, need I say more then its been a busy week.

Steve Cisco is back this week with another great show, look out for Barry Jones also this week along with Darren Potts and Gordon Wedderburn. Peter Andrews should be back later on in the week, the hippy has a new hair cut!

The Drive Problem!

We have sent the drive away to a local company in the North East to be looked at, it looks like we might be able to get the archive back. To stop this going on again in the future we are going to back up the drive to DVD, this means we always have a hard copy of the archive which is very hard to look after. We hope that as soon as the archive is back we will be able to offer you the archive shows again, until that point everything you hear is new!

Hi Listeners

Its not nice to report bad news but this is what we have, it looks like we have lost a mass amount of archive on the digital side. We are looking to recover this archive as its our station history, just as you know money is tight at the moment and it will cost £380! to do.

We don't have this amount at the moment in the bank or anything else, we don't ask anyone to donate but if you could it would mean lots to the station.. sorry for asking!

On Station news.!

Darren Potts, Peter Andrews, Gordon Wedderburn, Mike Lang are all back this week! Gordon is our new Jazz man doing his Jazz fusion show... Mike Lang is doing his show Through the mikeroscope which is Supertramp V Queen which is really worth a listen. Darren is doing a great rock hour also well worth a listen.

Tom Mackenzie & Justin Case are due back this coming Friday/Saturday, we hope that we will be able to bring you some archive in the very near future should things become recovered.

For our UK listeners alone, this is a map of where you are listening in and many in the 100s this was based on one day's catch! Oh one last point watch out for Darren Potts new name jingle on his show based on 1960s, made by Tom Mackenzie!

Hi Listeners,

Its nice to celebrate the stations 14th Birthday but its also nice to celebrate a presenters broadcasting birthday, Steve Cisco started 10 years ago this month on Pipeline Radio and has grown to be an valuable member of our broadcasting team. What did Steve Cisco bring to the station? well in its part the format that is still used to this very day was devised by Tom Mackenzie & Steve Cisco, Steve Joined us on 1287Khz and had worked on some RSL's London. I have worked with Steve Cisco in many areas over the years and of course everything has its stress, but what we have done in broadcasting stands up in front of anything. Our friendship is something to this day that I will always hold close to my heart, I hope Steve Cisco will continue with us in one shape of another. We have all had our moments and done and said things we all don't like, but at the end of the we have come through that unlike others.

Politics have played a bit part on driving Pipeline forward and it has done the station good, Steve Cisco is one of the best people at understanding peoples needs.

Thanks Steve Cisco for the past 10 years, Pipeline and myself hope you will continue at your best for many years to come! The Boy from Staffordshire has made his mark!

Hi Listeners,

Its always great to find out where People listen to Pipeline Radio from, Pipeline has been picking up more and more. Two of our main listened to shows are "Rocking America" and "Mikeroscope" with Mike Lang, along with Tom Mackenzie, Justin Case, Darren Potts and Peter Andrews.

So its time to show you where people listen to us from, I mean even the archive show we run once a week gets good listenership because you want to hear where we came from. I could have never imagined that Pipeline would be so popular many years ago, but it is proof to the world that people like alternative radio and that is what we are here for.

Unlike many other internet and land based stations Pipeline takes the alternative to extreme, we want to play album tracks we want to play strange sounds. If you can think of any music genre we don't play I challenge you to tell us via twitter. We are a proud and very happy little broadcast family, this is free radio for a modern age not some crap that is on your FM dial or internet station on just because it wants to be there. We want to bring you alternatives, and with our shows we hope we can show you this.

Gordon Wedderburn debut + Station News- 07-10-2009

Hi Listeners,

Its always great when we bring in a presenter with real quality, we have been wanting to bring a Jazz funk and Fusion show to Pipeline. Its one area in which I feel we have lacked ever since Larry Vidal left the station in 2007, I wanted someone who could really understand the music and show what its all about. So we have decided to bring in Gordon Wedderburn, Gordon knows his music and has been presenting on ILR stations. So this week you will be able to listen to Gordon and make up your mind is it what you want, Pipeline has been broadcasting for 14 years and in those years we have made great steps. My thought is that Gordon will being something we have never had on Pipeline Radio, Gordon is relaxed and very much shows how the music should free flow.

Other Pipeline News.

Darren Potts should be back this week with his rock hour on Thursday, while Mike Cullen will have us a new show this week. Tom Mackenzie show returns this week so look out for that, Mike Lang will be back this weekend with another Mikroscope show. Peter Andrews new show is live on the server this week, as will Justin Case with Metal Mayhem. Steve Cisco should be back this weekend sometime so look out for that.

This weeks archive was changed from Larry to Dave Gallagher, we take you back to March 2005 when Dave wanted to do two hours of radio. Dave is sadly missed and is always welcome should he ever wish to come back to Pipeline. So catch the Archive this week, Rocking America is also back this week with Zack Morse well worth a listen.

Hi Listeners,

We are having the time of our lives at the moment on Pipeline Radio, with more and more people tuning in each week to our podcasting service. With great new young talent like Beth Falconer, Rob Davies and Darren Potts the future looks bright. Zack Morse wont be doing a show each week now due to other work commitments but he has said he will keep the flag flying for Rocking America.

The fact is any time Zack is here its always a pleasure to have him, he is like us in believing in freedom of music and its right to be played.

Peter Andrews is doing a whole new bunch of shows for Pipeline Radio soon, due to the distance he lives they are recorded in a bunch of 10. Zack is back with Rocking America which is now up for listening, as is Mike Cullen the Geordie boy from Newcastle. What should you expect later this week.... Well we have a New Metal Mayhem show from Justin Case, we have all new Peter Andrews show. We have more Darren Potts and also the long term return of Barry Jones. Tom Mackenzie is back this week along with maybe Mike Lang with Mikroscope.

We will be in contact with Titus Jennings this week to see when we will have him back, he has also been away on personal bits. This weeks archive is a request from Paul May of Leicester, he wants to hear some old Larry Vidal - Good Groove Guide.! So that will be sorted for you. Larry served on Pipeline for a while and also on Sky Digital with Pipeline Radio, Larry used to do a soul Jazz funk show so we will dig one out this week. I can say from 14 years of Pipeline Radio broadcasting that we are having some exciting times here on the station, I hope we can add many more years to come I have no plans to quit and Pipeline will stay free and on top of Technology unlike other stations.
